I've led three groups through the Holy Land with Veritas, and each time I watch the same transformation: people who've read John 11 their whole lives stand at Lazarus's tomb and weep. The guides don't just show you places — they open the Scripture in them. My congregation preaches differently because of what they've seen.
As a pastor, my greatest fear was logistics. What if flights fell through? What if the group felt lost? Veritas removed every one of those anxieties. I was free to focus entirely on my people — to pray with them, to study with them, to be their shepherd instead of their travel agent. That gift is priceless.
What moved me most was meeting the Christian families in Bethlehem — people whose grandparents were born in the shadow of the Church of the Nativity, who still light candles and pray the same prayers we pray.
